Jane Dosman has over 15 years of professional experience specializing in the conservation of paper objects. I received my Master's of Art Conservation from Queen's University in 2008 and am an accredited member of the Canadian Association of Professional Conservators (CAPC). I sit on the board of the CAPC in the position of treasurer. During my education, I interned at Library and Archives Canada in Gatineau, Quebec, and at the Swiss National Library in Bern, Switzerland. I also completed a year-long Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship at the Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I then went to Quebec City where I was a conservator for seven years in the paper lab at the Centre de conservation du Quebec (CCQ). I am now engaged in private practice in Toronto. I am a member of the Canadian Association for Conservation of Cultural Property (CAC) and the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild (CCBAG).
